1. Getting Started

What is BS2D?: BS2D turns financial workbooks into visual dashboards, key takeaways and downloadable reports.
Which plan should I choose?: Business analyses one company, Premium compares up to five, and Pro supports institutional analysis for up to ten.
Do I need accounting or technical knowledge?: No. Use the supplied sample sheet and follow the highlighted input cells.
How do I create an account?: Select Create account, enter your email and a strong password, then sign in.

2. Preparing Your Excel File

Where can I download the sample file?: Use the Download Sample or enhanced input workbook link on the upload screen.
Which cells should I edit?: Replace only the sample figures in the highlighted yellow cells while keeping labels and structure unchanged.
How many years of data are required?: Enter at least three years. Add five or ten years when available for longer-term analysis.
Can I rename sheets or change the layout?: No. Keep the supplied sheet names, row labels and structure so the parser can identify every value.

3. Uploading and Processing

Which file formats are accepted?: Excel (.xlsx or .xls), CSV, PDF statements with selectable text, and Tally XML. CSV, PDF and XML files are converted to the BS2D workbook in your browser before analysis.
How do I upload more than one company?: Premium and Pro let you add files in batches. Previously selected unique files remain in the list.
Why is my file not processing?: Check the file type, sheet structure, required rows and that numeric cells contain valid values.
Is my financial data secure?: Files are processed through the protected BS2D workflow. Review the privacy and deployment policy before using confidential data.

4. Using the Dashboard

How do I switch between dashboard sections?: Use the navigation panel. It auto-hides and reappears when you roll over the left edge or select the BS2D logo.
What do green and red takeaways mean?: Green highlights positive signals. Red highlights risks, deterioration or values needing attention.
Can I change the display currency?: Yes. Open Settings & FAQ's and choose ₹ Cr or US$ Millions. Currency conversion changes display values only.
Can I use light and dark modes?: Yes. Choose Light for printing or Dark for screen study in Dashboard theme.

5. Reports and Support

How do I create a PDF report?: Complete the analysis, open Reports, review the full preview and select Export PDF or Export Board Report.
Can I add a user or organisation name?: Yes. Enter it in Report identity or save a default name in Settings.
Can I upload my own logo?: Custom client logo upload is available only in Pro reports. The BS2D logo remains unchanged.
