What is BS2D?
BS2D is an investment research platform built for HNIs and family offices. It compares companies side by side on ratio, growth and quality measures, shows the financial drivers behind performance through historical charts, and produces a finished PDF research report you can hand to a client or investment committee. Which file formats can you import into BS2D?
BS2D supports four common formats for importing financial data:
- PDF: Use figures directly from annual reports, financial statements and filings.
- CSV: Load exports from other research tools, databases and accounting systems.
- Excel: Import the workbooks your team already maintains, with no conversion step.
- XML: Connect structured financial data from feeds and other software.

Yes. Importing from PDF, CSV, Excel and XML is available on all BS2D tiers.
BS2D Premium compares 2 to 5 companies across 23 ratio and growth measures. It covers profitability, debt, cash flow, liquidity, 3, 5 and 10-year growth, and an institutional quality ranking, with Better Performer indicators and three cross-company takeaways.
BS2D Pro compares 2 to 10 companies across 36 core and advanced measures, including ROIC less WACC, Altman Z-Score, cash conversion cycle and earnings quality. Pro reports add a Board Room summary, Advanced Diligence, a formula and source audit, and your client's logo.
Why direct import improves financial analysis
